The translators has taken all precautions that the true spirit and sense of the original text are not misconceived or mutilated, but as the preposition goes ‘to err is human’ some mistakes might have been committed inadvertently for which we apologize. It is true that a translation is not an easy job and any translation cannot give the exact idea about the original work.

I have read and corrected his English translation of the book "Aytayqad-ul-Ahbab" under the English name " Fundamental Faith of Friends". I am not ashamed to reveal today that after being burdened under the weight of 74 years I have understood as to what is the real Sunni faith.
M.M. Ali, M.Sc (Alig) B.Com, FICA ABTI [London] has done a great service to the Muslims of the English speaking world in general and the followers of the Sunni faith in particular by transcribing and translating the sacred golden thoughts of Imam Ahle Sunnat Ahmed Raza Khan (May Allah be pleased with him).
Most of the Muslims living in the Islamic world and new Muslims brethren of the Western world do not know about the true and authenticated doctrines of Islam. The fundamental faith have been enlisted by His Holiness Imam Ahmad Raza Khan in his famous work Aytayqud-ul-Ahbab [Fundamental Faith] in his most masterly saintly style.
Being a bondmen of the Holy House of Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah be pleased with him), I regard it to be my humble duty to transcribe the holy illustration about the fundamental articles of Sunni Faith into simple English language for the benefit of the thousands of newly converted Sunni Muslims of South Africa, USA, UK and European countries.
No translation can serve the purpose to replace the original work of Alahazrat but I humbly believe that this translation will help the slaves of the Holy Imam of Ahle-Sunnat to understand what he actually meant in his sacred work. The readers are earnestly advised to read the original work and comprehend the true intentions of the Holy Imam in their true form.
