Eid-Milad-un-Nabi - June 2001

The photographs above show the Holy Hairs [tabarukkat (objects filled with baraka or grace; sacred relics)] of our beloved Master, the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) which is placed on a special desk at the Sunni Razvi Academy for disciples (murids) to make ziyarat [ziyara - to visit, specifically the shrines of dead saints in veneration and supplication of them]. Every year, many murids of His Eminence travel from different parts of the globe to the island of Mauritius to celebrate this sacred event.

The blessed Holy Hairs of our beloved Master, the Universal Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad Mustapha (Allah bless him and give him peace) was brought to Durban, South Africa by Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Siddiqui Qadiri Razvi (may Allah be pleased with him) and Maulana Abdul Aleem Siddiqui Qadiri Razvi Madani (may Allah be pleased with him); both of whom were Khalifas of Imam Ahle Sunnat Ahmad Raza Khan Qadiri (may Allah be pleased with him). Their relatives in turn passed these blessed Holy Hairs to Hazrat Maulana Ibrahim Khushtar Siddiqui Qadiri Razvi in the mid 1980s.

His Eminence used to carry the blessed Holy Hairs in his Amama [turban] before. Every year and on special occasions, the Bal Mubarak [blessed hairs] of our beloved Master the Universal Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad Mustapha (Allah bless him and give him peace) is placed on a special desk in the Sunni Razvi Academy for disciples (murids) to perform ziyarat with utmost respect, especially on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Allah bless him and give him peace). The blessed Holy Hairs of our beloved Prophet is preserved in honey wax and placed in a small dish which is enclosed in a special wooden closet, like the Ghumbad of our Nabi (Allah bless him and give him peace) in Hazrat Maulana Ibrahim Khushtar's room at the Sunni Razvi Academy in Mauritius.
