with fresh ideas and fresh thoughts

by Prof. Dr. Masud Ahmed

Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ibrahim Khushtar Siddiqui, the founder patron and President of the Sunni Razvi Society , student of,  guided by, and the Khalifa of Mufti-e-Azam Hind, Maulana Muhammad Mustafa Raza Khan Qadiri (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Hujjatul Islam Muhammad Hamid Raza Khan Qadiri (may Allah be pleased with him). His Eminence is an expert historian and composer of a beautiful collection of Naats and Ghazzals called "Qaseeme Bakshees".

The introduction by his teacher Shams Bareilly enlightens one on the excellence of his work. His Eminence work is literally and intrinsically rich in spirituality and of high caliber. It is sunnah to listen and recite Naats of good quality spirituality beneficial poetry. It is distressful and sorrowful that some people are depriving themselves of this sunnah. Poetry has the ability to incline ones nature and ones heart to pleasantness, elegance and good disposition.

His Eminence is an author of the biography of Hazrat Hujjatul Islam Muhammad Hamid Raza Khan's (may Allah be pleased with him) called "Tazkeere Jameel" and has made great sacrifices in the Path of Almighty Allah, by leaving all material comforts behind, so that the Ummah of Nabi Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) can be guided onto the right path in accordance with the teachings of the Reviver of this Century, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadiri (may Allah be pleased with him).

He has guided many lost souls from the glitters of the transient world to an appreciation of the real purpose of our Existence. We are constantly advised by His Eminence to be obedient to Almighty Allah and his beloved Messenger, and to lead practical lives and we should ponder upon our own weaknesses before judging someone else.

An intellectual accomplished missionary of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat whose world headquarters is in Mauritius, has also impact in Africa, America, Asia and Europe.

Mufti Azam Shah Muhammad Muzharrullah (may Allah be pleased with him), the father of Prof. Dr. Masud Ahmed was well known in Delhi. He had a very close relationship with Alahazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan's (may Allah be pleased with him) family and that is the reason the flower from the garden of Alahazrat fragrances here as well.

Professor Dr. Masud Ahmed wrote a treatise called 'Reflections', in honor of His Eminence, reflects a high esteem for Hazrat Maulana Khushtar as an author, accomplished poet, preacher, Spiritual Guide and roving Ambassador of Islam

We have no one besides you Ya Rasallulah and majesty is for you

Our hearts are for you and life we sacrifice for you

Our hearts beg for you Ya Rasullulah

Mufti Azam Shah Muhammad Muzharrullah (may Allah be pleased with him), the father of Prof. Dr. Masud Ahmed was well known in Delhi. He had a very close relationship with Alahazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan's family and that is the reason the flower from the garden of Alahazrat fragrances here as well.

These are the words of Delhi when the Fakir came to Pakistan; the dazzling sight began to whither

Thoughts of days separating from the beloved: how sad

Changes of time huts the heart

After a period in 1970, when work began earnest on Alahazrat and those that appeared distant began to get closer, things that enabled remembrance of Saints are things that join hearts and mend relations. Praise be to Almighty Allah for blessing the Fakir`s humble house with flowers from the garden of Raza. All began to come; all flavored the Fakir with grace. Hazrat Hassan Mia Maarharwee, Dr. Mohammad Ameen Maarharwee, Hazrat Rehaan Raza Khan Bareilly, Hazrat Manaan Raza Khan Bareilly, Hazrath Akhtar Raza Khan Bareilly, Hazrath Tauseef Raza Khan Bareilly, Hazrath Taqaddus Ali Khan Qadiri Razvi, Maulana Shauqat Hassan Khan Qadiri and Hazrat Mushaahid Raza Khan Qadiri Haashimi, etc.

From the praiseworthy family of Alahazrat (may Allah be pleased with him), this renown, predecessor, the well traveled, roving ambassador of Islam, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ibrahim Khushtar Siddiqui Qadiri Razvi from Jamaal Puri (May he be blessed forever) is a flower amongst these flowers who has fragranced my humble abode with his presence on many occasions.

These meetings were excuse for the discussion of Imam Raza

His Eminence by good fortune was born in 1348(A/H)(1930) in West Bengal, India. He has exceeded the spiritual status of many in his era. We must be thankful by the Mercy of Almighty Allah; we have been selected to serve His Religion-undoubtedly it is through His blessing that we continue existing.

Through your kindness my days are passing

No complaints of friends, nor complaints of this time

His Eminence possesses many excellent qualities, his formality, his pleasant manner of discourse/mannerism, his sincerity, his love and affection is unforgettable. His traditional education was acquired at Darul Uloom Manzare Islam and Darul Mazhare Islam in Bareilly Shareef. After completing studies of Hadith at Jaamia Razvia Mazhare Islam, in Faislabad, he obtained his qualification. This highly esteemed Aalim was taught and accepted as a student of honor by leading and distinguished personalities such as Hujjatul Islam Hazrat Muhammad Hamid Raza Khan, Musfassire Quran Hazrat Muhammad Ibrahim Raza Khan (Jilani Mian), Muhaddis-e-Azam Hazrat Muhummad Sardaar Ahmed Qadiri Razvi, Sheikul Hadith Hazrath Taqaddus Ali Khan Qadri Razvi, Adeebe Shaheer Hazrat Shamsul Haq Shams, etc.

His Eminence obtained Ijaazath (permission, authority from spiritual master to become a spiritual guide) and Khalifat (an officially appointed representative of the spiritual master) from numerous Spiritual Masters and Silsilas more notably Hazrat Mufti Zia-udeen Madani, Hujjatul Islam Muhammad Mustafa Raza Khan Bareilly.

His Eminence began his missionary work in 1965 and his patronage gatherings of spiritually enlightened Halqa Zikrs are held on a regular base. This celebrated Aalim did not waste his time. He has no lust for acquiring material things, life in this world has nothing to lust for-he is more interested in the betterment of others-to adorn and prepare for the Hereafter, for him this type of life is fruitful.

Thousands of servants of Allah are wandering in the lost valley

I desire to follow those who have love for Allah’s servants

His Eminence is Jamaali (with attributes of mercy) and not Jalaali (with attributes of anger or wrath), what a beautiful co-incidence that he was born in Jamaal Pur. He spiritually enlightens and mends hearts as he goes along, and does not break hearts. He does not destroy but improves the environment around him. He is not in need to be photographed, but people do. He does not need publicity, name and fame, but ordinary people do.

For the benefit and guidance of the people the exalted spiritual leaders are at time compelled to allow some disliked practices, but it must be remembered that the actions are dependant on intentions. Almighty Allah knows ones intentions and the power to pardon. A fakir is one who veils his true self and depends solely on Almighty Allah.

A Fakir does everything for the sake of Allah Almighty and not for his own desires

Makes the person unaware of both worlds

Strange things this taste of close friendship is

Allah Allah the existence of a poet

Hearts are rosebuds, eyes with dew moist

His Eminence besides convening and establishing spiritually enlightening gatherings of Qadiri Halqa Zikr, concentrated greatly in publication of magazines and books for the sake of propagation. Our spiritual leaders must take this as an example. There is not a lack of resources nor is the desire for such is lacking. To benefit from our deen or from Sunni Razvi Society International many books, magazines, posters and invitations are published in various languages. For a number of years this Society has began publishing some of this humbles servants English translations from its branches in Africa, UK, France and other countries.
