Australia

This can be described as a milestone when His Eminence Fakhrul Islam Allama al-Hajj Hafiz Maulana Muhammad Ibrahim Khushtar Siddiqui Qadiri Razvi (may Allah sanctify his soul) presented a religious lecture at the Shailer Park Community Hall in Brisbane in 1991. It was the first time that an Aalim (scholar of Islamic theology and Jurisprudence) of this caliber presented a lecture to the Brisbane Muslim Community. It is also the very first time His Eminence has visited Brisbane and the first time that the great genius, the Reformer of the 14th Century, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadiri (may Allah be pleased with him) was introduced here. Furthermore, it was a historical event for the further growth and establishment of the principles of the Ahle-Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat in Brisbane.

A Qiraat from the Holy Quran opened the function and as custom Naat Shareef (religious poetry) of Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (may Allah be pleased with him) followed it. A synopsis of the life and achievements of His Eminence was given by the local Master of Ceremonies.

The lecture commenced with the inspiring step-by-step presentation in which His Eminence proved that Imaan is inconceivable without utmost and total respect, love and honor of Hazrat Muhammad Muatapha (Allah bless him and give him peace). This concept was introduced with the Prophet's (Allah bless him and give him peace) invitation of Islam to the Meccan Society. The point made was that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) first made first offered belief and recognition of himself before he presented the declaration of Faith to his people, and when they rejected the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), they then rejected Almighty Allah. The point was further stressed that the believer can only reach Almighty Allah if he accepts without doubt in the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), in his character, his personality, his message, his highness and his greatness. His Eminence then elaborated on this point with an Ayat of the Holy Quran in which Allah and His Angels send salutations to Rasulullah (Allah bless him and give him peace). He also confirmed the truth of Hayatun Nabi by the Quran and Hadith, as well as the celebration of Meelad-un-Nabi and the offering of Salaam and Darood as sanctioned by Shariah.

The lecture concluded with Salaami and dua and it was a heartening note to see some 200 followers of all racial and ethnic backgrounds such as; Arabs, Yugoslavians, Albanians, Australians, Africans, Fijians and Indians, etc. The number of followers that attended according to Australian standards was overwhelming since Muslims are scattered all around the city and experience endless obstacles. His function then became a socializing event where all nationalities come together on the common grounds of faith.

His Eminence is a versatile writer in Urdu and Persian. Some of the publications he has sponsored are:

In the course of a Khutba sermon, the beloved Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said:

"Blessed is he whose concern for his own faults keeps him from meddling with the faults of others, lives on money which he obtained without wrongful action, associated with the wise and learned, and shuns the people of evil and wrong action. Blessed is he who humbles himself, whose nature has been refined, and whose heart has been altered, and who avoids inflicting harm upon them"
