Khanqah Qadiriya Razviya - Mauritius

This white and green painted building surrounded by beautiful greenery is found in Mesnil, Phoenix, which has the second largest agglomeration of Muslims in Mauritius. On every Thursday, Halqa Zikr is recited at the Khanqah Qadiri Razvia and has been ongoing without fail. It is also a meditation center for Muslims. Hakqa Zikr is also read in assemblies at the seaside, the riverside, in the forest, on the mountains and everywhere, where seekers gather for such a practice.

His Eminence laid the foundation stone on a large piece of land on Sunday 20th February 1983 (Jamaadi-ul-Akhir 1403 Hijri) at about 10am. The land was donated by a faithful mureed (disciple). The first weekly Halqa Zikr was held on Thursday 14th April 1983 (1st Shabaan 1403 Hijri) under the patronage of our Shiekh-ul-Tariqat in a little tent and ladies were seated in a van just outside the tent after Asr salaat.
