There is no dearth in Islamic History of such versatile personalities who have benefited the world with their knowledge, wisdom, innovative ideas, intelligence and insight. Imam Ahmad Raza Khan son of Naqi Ali Khan was one of such illustrious personalities who was born in Bareilly (India) on 14th June 1856 A.D. (10th Shawal-al-Mukarram 1272 A.H.)

Hazrat Maulana Ibrahim Khushtar (may Allah be well pleased with him) has granted Khilafat [an officially appointed successor] to his eldest son Muhammad Masood Azhar Khushtar Siddiqui Qadiri Razvi who is now the Sajjada Nasheen of the Sunni Razvi Society International.

Our beloved Pir-i-Murshid has passed away in Mauritius on 15 August 2002 at 3pm [11am UK time]. Our beloved Pir will be buried on Friday 16 August after the Jummah prayers. The Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation has televised the entire funeral procession in Mauritius and has also developed a documentary on His Eminence's life and spiritual mission.

8.45p.m UK time our very ill Hazrat boarded Air Mauritius flight from UK to Mauritius. Pray Almightty Allah that he reaches Mauritius safe. He was accompanied by 4 murids, 4 family members and by Dr. Rashid. They reached Mauritius at 11am the next day and our Pir was admitted to Quatre Bornes Medisave Clinic.

This very month, on the 11th, is the death anniversary of the King of Baghdad, Chief of the contented souls, the incomparable, Ghaus-ul-Azam Shaikh Sayyiduna Mohiuddin Abdul Qadir Jilani, Hassani Hussaini (May Allah be pleased with him).

Hazrat Maulana Khushtar instructs disciples to begin reciting monthly Wazifa Khatme Qadiria Kabeer at his future burial site [dargah] at the Zikr Manzil inside the EidGah in Mauritius. The first recitals began on 21 July with 39 murids present. [dargah - literally 'court', the seat of spiritual authority represented by Sufi shrines or tombs]

On Monday at the Sunni Razvi Academy after Maghrib prayers, the 375th monthly Gyaraween Shareef and the 1710th weekly Halqa Zikr will be conducted.

On Tuesday processions from all over the country with gather in front of the Academy and at exactly Subh-o-Saadiq [the exact time of the birth of the beloved Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace)], Meelad Shareef and Salaat-o-Salaam will be sung to honor the Universal Prophet.
