Our Objectives

You must think. You must reflect. You must realize.

You must know. And you must understand.

  Awakening

  Reflection

Diseases of the Soul
  1. To our best capacity, we must be engaged in the remembrance of Allah (Zikr) and implore Him not to fall in the trap of Satan. We must at the same time make a Holy War (jihad) against our ego (nafs). Even the great Sufi GrandMaster, Imam Ahmed Raza Khan al-Qadiri (may Allah be pleased with him) did not trust his lower self (nafs), and wrote:

Raza! Do not trust your lower self; it is your enemy

You do not know how dehumanizing is the evil of envy

Raza nafs dushman mein na aana

Kahan toum ne deikhe hein chandrane wale

  2. To follow the Right Path of 'ihdina siratal mustaqeen'. Everyone claims that he is on the right Path and his contact is strong. Contact with the Prophet IS NOT sufficient, we should first establish our connection with Shaikh Sayyiduna Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah be pleased with him) and other Masters of Reality, including Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (may Allah be pleased with him); and then our contact with the beloved would be of real worth.

  3. To have faith in the Masters of Reality. A disciple of Imam Ahmad Raza (may Allah be pleased with him) once reported that, were his parents to come of their graves and speak ill of his Spiritual Master, he would not trust them. Amir Khusrau was the disciple of Nizam-uddeen Awliya (may Allah be pleased with him). Because of his love for his Master, he did not have the strength  of character to sit before him for long. His Eminence related that when Nizam-uddeen (may Allah be pleased with him) breathed his last and his body was been carried to the cemetery, Amir Khusrau, in a state of deep ecstasy, started sprinkling dust upon himself.

  4. Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadiri (may Allah be well pleased with him) said,  "Shariah and Sufism" are not two different or opposite  things. Without obeying the Shariah [Revealed Law] one cannot approach Allah."

  5. To practice and understand the 10 Doctrines of the 'Fundamental Faith of Friends' which unfolds the true meanings of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat [Sunni].

  6. To understand, practice and safeguard the "Five Treasures of the Secrets" of the Qadiri Sufi Order.

  7. To promote the birthday celebration of the beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (Allah bless him and give him peace), the death (Urs) anniversaries of the great Saints (Awliya) of Islam.

  8. To educate and promote material for the understanding of the virtues of the various Islamic (Lunar) months such as Shab-e-Baraat, Rabi-ul-Awwal, Rabi-ul-Akhir, etc.

  9. To publish books, magazines and educational pamphlets and to introduce Islam as Universal  brotherhood, which teaches and practices the religion of peace, love and understanding as  taught by our beloved Master, the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace).

  10. To promote the teachings, life and writings of the great Revivalist of this Century, genius and scientist, writer and poet, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (may Allah sanctify his soul). To make contact with other organizations who have the same Creed.

  11. To reach a diverse audience, build bridges of understanding, present and open the doors of  the Islamic Universe without distorting it. Imam Ahmad Raza instructed his followers and said, "Avoid the mistakes of your brothers, and don't check them or rebuke them for small mistakes to satisfy your egotism, and don't crash your unity, because unity  is blessings from Allah the Beneficent."

  12. To show utmost love and respect to the beloved Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) and his noble descendants (Ahle Bayt/Sayyids) as this was the teachings of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan (may Allah sanctify his soul).

  13. To awaken to the transcendent Light of Almighty Allah that is within our hearts.
